About the location

Birkenhead has a large supermarket and, for some unknown reason, an overload of chemists(!). Also has quirky and ethnic small restaurants plus a few of the chains. An ordinary pub showing live sport and a gastro pub along the same road, both family friendly. All this within 5 minutes stroll, as are some lovely bush walks.
As long as you don`t go in peak traffic time you can be on the motorway in 5 minutes, heading north or south.

Bus stop over the road with a bus to the city every 10 mins (approx). Also buses to Takapuna beach and elsewhere.
