Lovely 1 Bed home in NEW YORK CITY, USA
My husband and I have a one bedroom apartment in Brooklyn Heights, which is one subway stop from Downtown Manhattan (Wall Street stop is less than 10 minutes). We are about 20 minutes from the Midtown/Times Square area of Manhattan (42nd Street stop). The apartment has a very small kitchen and bathroom but a full sized livingroom and bedroom with a King size bed. The building has a twenty-four hour front desk person, laundry facilities, and is across the street from a subway station on the No. 2/3 subway line. It was built in 1927 originally as a hotel. The lobby has a Spanish Medieval theme to its architecture with pretty tilework. The apartment is sunny and breezy with windows on three sides, and has air conditioning, TV with cable, and microwave. Bathroom has a tub and an excellent showerhead. We have antiques in the apartment so we prefer not to have children. Pictures of apartment are available at the website listed below.
