Lovely 4 Bed home in Ravensdale, Ireland

Large modern detached house with private gardens situated on a quiet road. Our home is set amongst lush rolling green hills & valleys in Ravensdale, Southern Ireland - on the borders of Northern Ireland. We have two large forests, Ravensdale and Slieve Gullion within 10 mins drive. Our particular area is sparsely populated and from our windows our views consist mainly of mountains and trees. River at bottom of our fields with Trout and Pike.


We live between Ireland's two major cities, Dublin city is 55 miles south with Belfast city 45 miles north.

To the North is a 40 minute drive to the beautiful seaside holiday resort of Newcastle and the Mountains of Mourne and to the South, to the Medieval town of Carlingford which overlooks Carlingford Lough. There is ample scope for mountaineering, walking and hill climbing in the area (www.armaghanddown.com), with plenty of equestrian (www.ravensdalelodge.com), golfing and swimming facilities. There is also an abundance of historical sites to visit. American/Ulster folk park 1 hours travel north. Newgrange and Slane castle 1 hours travel south.
