Our home is located in Tysons Corner/McLean, Virginia which is about 10 minutes from Washington, DC and all it has to offer. We are centrally located on the east coast of the US, with easy access to New York City (4hr drive N, 2hr by train) and Philadelphia.
To the south is Thomas Jefferson’s home in Charlottesville (2 hrs), historic Williamsburg (3hrs) and Richmond (1-1/2hrs)
To the east are the gorgeous Atlantic beaches of Delaware and Maryland (2-1/2 hrs), Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay for swimming and sailing (1 hr).
To the west you’ll find the magnificent Shenandoah Mountains and Skyline Drive (1 hr) , with spectacular scenery and hiking. Within 30 minutes of the house you can explore Civil War battlefields, vineyards, or a drive through the gorgeous Virginia hunt country.
Tysons Corner is also famous for its world-class shopping.
Our home is located in a very safe, quiet and charming residential community, yet within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. There is a small playground and park one block away, and the house backs up to 10 acres of pristine parkland that provide both privacy and a beautiful place to stroll and enjoy nature and wildlife.
