Snow at the Barn - Marshfield

Our 18th century house lies in the village of Marshfield, a conservation area on the southern edge of the Cotswolds, 8 miles from the Roman city of Bath. We used to accomodate B&B customers for most of the year so the house, garden and bedrooms are furnished and maintained to a high standard.

We are just 20 mins from Bath, 30mins from Bristol and are ideally placed to explore the South West of England, the Cotswolds, South Wales, Salisbury and Stonehenge.

We have a large kitchen, dining room, lounge, 5 double bedrooms (3 of which have en-suite shower rooms) a large garden and a double garage.

About the location

Marshfield is a rural village of about 1500 habitants. It is located about 20mins from Bath and is surrounded by excellent walking country. We have a 5YO chocolate labrador Ruby who can stay with you, if you want a walking companion, or she can stay with our friends.

Marshfield village has 2 good pub/restaurants, the Lord Nelson and the Catherine Wheel, a good grocers shop, a butchers, a hairdressers and some other useful shops. Big supermarkets are easily accessible in Chippenham and Bath.
Bus services are sporadic and you are better off with a car.
