Our house - Ramsgate

We have recently moved from London to Ramsgate, a town on the South East coast of Kent. The house is a Regency style 4.5 storey house, built around 1850.

House Facilities: Dishwasher/Washing Machine/Tumble Drier, Fully equipped kitchen/diner, 2 reception rooms, 2 Double Bedrooms (1 with en suite) and 1 single. Broadband internet and Wi-Fi. TVs in most rooms. Small private garden.

There is free parking right outside the door. The local beach is around 5 minutes walk away and Ramsgate main beach is just down the slope to the town.

We have two cats, Foxy and Bella, who need feeding and cat tray maintenance.

About the location

Ramsgate is a lovely town with two nice beaches, many good restaurants, a marina and fishing harbour. It is very close to Broadstairs and Margate, which are popular tourist areas with a variety of facilities. London is 65 minutes away via a fast train service to St Pancras International, and there are good bus and train services to local towns such as Canterbury, Dover and Whitstable.
