We live in a Victorian terrace in the charming rural village of Brinscall, Lancashire, in the West Pennine Moors. Our spacious two-bedroom house has comfortable features including an eat-in cottage garden, working fireplaces, laundry, dvd, too many books and wireless broadband. Our house would be ideal for a walking holiday, with miles of moor and woodland trails right here. We are well-placed for day trips, with good bus and rail and the motorway nearby: 30 min to beaches at Formby and Blackpool, 30-90 min to amazing walks in the Ribble Valley, North Wales or the Lake District, and 30 min to Manchester with its top notch theatre, galleries, restaurants and clubs. We have a cat who would need feeding, though he could be boarded.
