Lovely 1 Bed home in Toronto, Canada

Ground floor 900 sq ft two storey loft condo with a 120 sq ft terrace on an inner treed courtyard in mid-town Toronto, steps to the subway (downtown in 15 minutes), great shopping and restaurants. There is a king size bed and 2 bathrooms. Also, with a sofa bed in the living area, we can sleep 4, however the coffee table is heavy.

It's a quiet location with access to all amenities within a 2 minutes walk. There is a pub around the corner and many restaurants/bistro, including numerous inexpensive ethnic restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

We have all the usual appliances including a 32" widescreen TV and high speed internet in this very secure building. The deck has a table with umbrellas and a BBQ, and 2 lounge chairs.

Toronto is an International airport and is a 30 minute drive ($50 by taxi). 90 minutes away is great theatre in Niagara-on-the-Lake (Shaw Festival) as well as the U.S. border - Buffalo.

Toronto has great local theatre, an opera house, symphony house and a smaller music hall - Toronto Centre for the Arts. We have a major Art Gallery (AGO) and museum (RMO) with wonderful travelling exhibits and permanent collections with children's programs.

Great bike paths named number one biking city in North America in mid-90s. You can bike the entire waterfront and 2 river valley systems on bike paths. The Beach area and the Centre Island parks are wonderful places to walk, have a drink and watch the world go by.
