East Finchley is a suburb of London with a predominantly late-Victorian architectural character. Nearby there are shops, good restaurants with varying cuisines, leafy parks and ancient woods.
Unique local features include Hampstead Heath from which there are magnificent views over the whole of London; elegant late eighteenth-century Kenwood House with its fine Old Masters collection; an excellent art-house cinema in East Finchley itself.
There are good transport links to central London (about 40 minutes)as well as road and train links to the north. The new Eurostar terminus at St Pancras is easily reached.
We have a computer, satellite tv, many books, CDs and records; also a piano.
