This property is a top floor Victorian flat in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town, it is centrally located, with lots of local stores 5 mins away and a 10 minute walk up the hill to the centre of town. From the property there is a picturesque view to the north side of the castle. A bus stop at the end of the road has regular services up into town or down to the port area of Leith.

The property has a newly fitted large dining kitchen, a large sitting room with bay windows looking out into the leafy crescent. A separate study area also has a sofa bed for extra guests. There are two double bedrooms and there are TVs in the Kitchen and sitting room, plus access to cable TV and a DVD player. A small bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower.

The property is 10 minutes walk away from the beautiful Botanic Gardens, and there is even a French Restaurant at the end of the my road. It is an amazing location since Edinburgh is also so close to the Pentland Hills, the coast of Fife and a few hours drive away from the Highlands. I purchased my home in November 2007 because of its location and I have spent love and time renovating it to a high standard. I would hope that my exchange partner would treat it with TLC as well.
