Our house is a modernised cottage in a rural area but only 4 miles from Cork city. It has a large attractive garden with a play chalet for children. (There is a pond which may be dangerous for small children).
We are close to Cork harbour and a short drive from many sandy beaches. It is an excellent base for touring the south of the country.
