Spacious home in the South of France

We are interested in simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchanges to our second home in the south of France, in Uzes, a medieval town in the Gard. Uzès is a fascinating town (pop.9,000) surrounded by glorious countryside with vines, lavender and sunflower fields. From Uzès there is easy access to the Cevennes and the Camargue, Avignon, Arles, Nimes and the towns/villages of Provence - Chateauneuf du Pape, Les Baux and Aix-en-Provence.


The house in Uzès has a large garden and heated swimming pool (6mX11m), and is situated about 500 metres from the centre of the town.


Uzès is particularly well known for its vibrant and colourful Wednesday and Saturday markets.

About the location

This area of France offers a wide range of possibilities with much beautiful countryside, proximity to the spectacular towns of Nîmes, Avignon, Montpellier, Orange and Arles within 40 minutes, as well as the beautiful villages of Provence and the coast of the Camargue within an hour's drive.
