A slightly longer walk or a bus/car ride is the Blist Hill open air museum which recreates a Victorian town in the early 1900's.
Shropshire is a beautiful county ideal for walkers and the historic town of Shrewsbury is 25 minutes by car. It takes less than 3 hours to drive to London.
Holly House is a large detached house. Access to Holly House is by one of the 2 bridges over a small stream called the Coalbrook. The garden and brook offer many delightful areas for relaxing, cooking and eating outside from spring to autumn.
