Our delightful, bohemian cottage has two double and one tiny single bedrooms, a functional galley kitchen, open plan dining room and lounge with an open fire and gas central heating, and a garden. It is nestled in Newlyn, an authentic, working fishing village (not gentrified) near Penzance, Cornwall, a 5 minute walk from the harbour and surrounded by designated Areas of Natural Beauty, with miles of beautiful moorland, clifftops, woodland, tiny hamlets and unspoilt, rugged coastline. Superb walking, cycling, horse-riding, sailing, surfing and touring area with blue-flag beaches within 3 to 10 miles by car, including St Ives, Sennen cove and White Sand Bay for surfing, Porthcurno, Treen (naturist) and Marazion with the famous St Michaels Mount - home of Lord St Levan. We are a short drive from the famous Minack open-air theatre - perched on the clifftop overlooking the sea, with performances throughout the Summer. Major Art Galleries nearby include Newlyn, the Exchange, Penzance and the Tate, St Ives. The area has attracted many famous people to live/work here including D H Lawrence, Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth and John Le Carre - and many international celebrities such as David Bowie and Johnny Depp have homes here. Shops, good restaurants and welcoming Inns abound. We have a Tabbycat called BonKitty, that likes to be stroked and fed.
