Lovely 2 Bed home in Brighton, England

Small seaside bungalow in very peaceful area, on a quiet road overlooking an open green. Saltdean is 6 miles east of Brighton, with good bus (25 mins) and road (15 mins) access. You can also cycle into town (undulating cycle path along clifftop, or flat route along seafront).

The house is tiny and modest, rather than in "show home" league, but it's a happy living space. Accommodates two comfortably (double bedroom), with an additional double sofabed in the log cabin. The kitchen and bathroom are small but adequate. Please note that I don't have a telly, so if you're a keen viewer you'd have to catch up with your favourite programmes online.

The back garden has lovely views to the downs and there are bridle paths just around the corner for scenic walks. Insulated, 2-roomed log cabin in the garden for use as an office (wireless broadband) and spare bedroom/lounge. Easy-care garden (with decking, pebbles and a thyme lawn) includes raised vegetable planters and a pond with fish.

Brighton is an extraordinarily lively, friendly city and hosts a massive international arts festival in May. London is 50 mins away by train from Brighton centre; many people commute to work there. Newhaven (ferries to France) is just 5 miles down the road. The East Sussex countryside is lovely, with many quaint villages and cosy rural pubs.
