For somewhere so close to London (50 miles to Piccadilly Circus) the area is astonishingly rural. The train gives easy access to local towns (Tunbridge Wells, Battle, Sevenoaks) as well as London and the coast. It would be ideal for a family wishing to live deep in the countryside also with access to shops, theatre etc.
It is great walking an cycling country, we have bicycles you can use. In addition there is sailing and fishing at Bewl Water, and golf.
For sightseeing: Bodiam castle, Rye, Knole, Battle, renowned gardens at Sissinghurst and Great Dixter, Meat is sourced from a local farm.
