Lovely 2 Bed home in Istanbul, Turkey
Its a top floor flat (no lift) with a view of the Bosphorus and a balcony. Tarabya is a bustling ex Greek village which is now a suburb. It is a residential area, my street is full of villagers from the Black Sea.
It is possible to walk along the Bosphorus 10 minutes down the hill. You can get everywhere in the city cheaply by bus, metro or boat from my flat but Istanbul is a very busy city and it can take a while-40 minutes to Taksim but there is always something wonderful to look at on the way.
The village is full of cafes and food shops and there are loads of fish restaurants.
The flat is bright, colourful and warm but slightly shabby especially the brown 70's bathroom, although everything works well.
