Port Moody (www.cityofportmoody.com ) is a vibrant, waterfront town surrounded by mountains and located just 30 minutes drive from the centre of Vancouver, with excellent transport links including the West Coast Express and SkyTrain to the whole of the Greater Vancouver area. It is located within easy access of several world-class ski resorts, including a scenic 70 minute drive to Whistler, site of the 2010 Winter Olympics and Mount Seymour (40 minutes drive) and Grouse Mountain (50 minutes) ski resorts.

Numerous outdoor recreational activities are available within walking distance of the house including ocean kayaking, canoeing, hiking, yachting, golf and tennis. Relax on our balcony and watch the sun rise and set over the inlet or just cross the road and go for a leisurely walk around the inlet to the local beach or marina to watch the boats and kayaks head out into the ocean.

Also, within walking distance is a full recreational centre, tennis courts, small library/theatre complex, and a cosmopolitan shopping centre of individual shops including a fishmonger, Italian bakery/cafe and a pub.
