Our home is a national grade 2 listed, 3 bed, 2 bath character cottage. Originally a quarryman's cottage (17th Century) in Neston, the village has a pub, church and primary school. We are 7 miles from the World Heritage City of Bath, 25 miles from the old merchant port of Bristol, and easy access to London (2 hrs by car, 1.25 hrs by train). Neston is on the edge of the Cotswolds and approx 1.5 hours from the coast. Stonehenge is less than an hour and the National Trust village of Lacock is 15 mins away (the location for many period dramas and films, including Harry Potter, as well as Lacock Abbey/Museum the home of modern photography). Access to the wider area is excellent, eg Devon, Cornwall, Wales as the M4 motorway is 20 mins away.
