Stogumber, Somerset

Our semi-detached red stone cottage dates from the seventeenth century and has a lovely small garden, equipped with a pond and its own gum tree!

It is situated in a small Somerset village in between the Quantock hills and the Brendon Hills. It is a beautiful area of rolling hills on the edge of Exmoor and 5 miles from the Bristol Channel. The county town of Taunton is 13 miles away as is the traditional resort town of Minehead.

It is an excellent area for walkers and for visiting both traditional English pubs and historical sites (eg Dunster Castle and the old town of Watchet).

There would also be the possibility of using our house in Spain, which is situated in the mountains near Malaga.
