Thame is a beautiful historic town near Oxford that has roots back beyond the civil war, with lots of local shops and amenities and a Leisure centre. The town is close to the Chiltern hills ideal for walking, and 50 minutes away by train from London. Places like Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon are less than an hour away by car.
We live in a wonderful 5 storey Victorian house, with lots of room. There is a huge basement area, a living room, dining room and kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, and an exercise den at the top of the house. The house is 10 minutes walk from town, and close to the "Phoenix trail" formerly a railway track that you can cycle and run on. Altogether, a great place to live, within touching distance of cities and the country.
