It is surrounded by an area of mixed farming including orchards, sugar bush and vineyards. The nearby Eastern Townships are situated among rolling hills and home to many fine arts and performing arts communities. To the north are the beautiful Laurentian mountains which offer canoeing, hiking, touring or, in Winter, skiing.
