Our home is situated within 20 mins walk of the the roman city of Chester an historic shopping centre that includes the Rows - shops on 2 levels - dating back 700 years. You can walk the original Roman walls that surround the city, take a cruise along the river Dee and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
We live in a relaxing, comfortable 1930's home on a quiet leafy road five minutes walk from a park with tennis, croquet, bowls and a 9 hole golf course.
The North Wales Coast is less than 1 hour by car with the Lake District and Snowdonia National Park about 2 hours by car. There is also an excellent train service to London that takes about 2 hours and both the cities of Manchester and Liverpool and their Airports are less than an hour away.
