Folly square cottage - Jurassic coast

Our stone cottage is part of a 3 house terrace in the centre of Bridport but in a charming little square hidden away from the main road. Bridport is a vibrant market town, with lots going on all the year round. It has become very foody with a twice-weekly market specialising in locally sourced produced, Women's institute, farm shops and organic stores as well as good supermarkets, artisan bakeries, book shops and antique markets.
20 minutes by foot to the beach over the fields and 5 minutes by car. Lovely walks from the house into the countryside.

About the location

We are situated on the famous Jurassic coast, near Lyme Regis and Charmouth for fossil hunting. The stunning coast path will take you into Devon to the West and to Chesil beach and the Purbecks to the East. The splendid Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are just half an hour away by car.
The beaches at West Bay are good for children and there are lots of quirky museums and places to visit if the English weather is precocious. And of course, West Bay is Broadchurch for those who saw the television series! The Dorset landscape is unbelievable...
