Sandwich is reknowned as one of Henry V111's Cinque Ports and the streets are lined with many imposing 16th century buildings. The area is also extremely popular with bird watchers, walkers and golfers and Royal St Georges will be hosting the Open Championship in 2011.
The historic city of Canterbury is 12 miles to the west and London just 70 miles away -2 hours by car or train.
Trips to France or Belgium are affordable and easy to arrange with ferries every hour from Dover ( 12 miles to the south) to Calais or Dunkerque.

We have 2 black cats who are pretty self sufficient but will require the level of care to which they have become accustomed. They are 10 years old.
