Il Paretaio ("the bird catcher's net") is a beautiful, secluded, large, traditional Tuscan farmhouse.
The house is situated in its own estate, on the crest of a hill, and surrounded by its own olive groves.

There are five large bedrooms with enough beds for thirteen people: wonderful for a large family or group of friends. The downstairs area is largely open-plan, with archways and terracotta tiles.

It is three miles from the medieval hilltop town of Palaia. Fantastic local restaurants.

Pisa and the coast are a 40 min drive away, and Florence is less than an hour.
There are several medieval hill towns in the surrounding area, the most famous being Volterra and San Gimignano, and Siena is also within easy day trip distance.
