Charming old stone house in a hilltop village - Montagrier

Montagrier is an ancient hilltop village above the Riberac to Perigueux road, near the small town of Tocane with its Monday market. We have a charming old stone house in a terrace with a picturesque but simple restaurant next door.

The 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is mainly on two floors and is furnished with antiques. There is an attic floor above and a cellar floor below, with a couple of divans. We have a great many books. The garden cascades into the valley below in a series of terraces including a small pool. A summerhouse has an extra bedroom and shower-room. We have a garage below the pool patio. Our resident cat is charming and requires affection but minimal work to feed her and keep her happy.
