Lovely 2 Bed home in St Ythaire, France

Detached stone cottage in a tiny hamlet in Burgundy. Two bedrooms with ensuite shower facilities. Kitchen, sitting/dining room, open gallery. Garden, beautiful views. The house is approximately 150 years old and in the Burgundy style. That means that all the living accomodation is upstairs and reached by an outside staircase. Downstairs are cellars. The second ensuite bedroom is the only room on the ground floor and is reached from upstairs by the outside staircase so the house is not suitable for young children

Vaux is set in an area of rural beauty. There are French, English and Belgian residents with summer visitors from Switzerland and Holland.

We have two cats that would need to be fed and watered. They are very undemanding.

There are no shops, pubs, restaurants. All of those are 5km away in our nearest town St Gengoux le National.

If you want a relaxed holiday in beautiful surroundings with friendly neighbours and lovely towns such as Cluny or Beaune to visit then this is right for you.
