Rural retreat in beautiful countryside an hour from Edinburgh

Our home is a recently-built eco-home, situated in beautiful countryside about an hour south of Edinburgh. It has a large kitchen-dining area with doors opening onto the South-facing garden, a separate large living room, facing West, three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms.

About the location

The house is situated on the edge of the Lammermuir Hills, with beautiful walks from the door in all directions. A favourite is the circular walk via the picturesque village of Abbey St Bathans and the extraordinary Edin's Hall Broch, dating from the 2nd century. We are about a 15 minute drive from the beach at Coldingham, and 25 minutes from Berwick on Tweed and Dunbar. Edinburgh is about an hour away by car (or a combination of car and public transport).
