Lovely 3 Bed home in Leichhardt, Australia

Would you consider an exchange to Sydney, Australia?


Ideally we are looking for an exchange for Jun-Jul-Aug 2012 but we will consider variations of this.

We have a 3 - 4 bedroom brick house in the trendy inner west of Sydney about 10 minutes walk from the harbour. The house is about 1930's and is in good condition - very homey. It's a quiet spot and yet a quick walk away from Norton St the bustling Italian restaurant strip. It's on top of the hill so there is a view to the north and the harbour. The street is quiet with a small leafy park across the road.

There are 3 bedrooms with double beds in two and reverse cycle air-conditioning in the open plan living area.

There are large shopping centres nearby, cinemas and lots of coffee shops and restaurants. There is no garage but lots of room in the street for parking. We also have two very friendly cats who will need to be looked after. We will leave food for them and that's all they need! One is very cuddly to most people and if you're a cat person you will definitely fall in love with him!

Leichhardt is a fashionable inner west suburb of Sydney, populated by Italian immigrants since 1950. There are lots of Italian restaurants and coffee shops, though these days there are Japanese and Thai restaurants as well. Our house is close to the harbour and there is a running, walking, biking track around the nearby harbour inlet, which is a 10 min walk and a 5 min bike away. We have bikes that you could use.

Leichhardt is only 10 minutes from the centre of Sydney via the nearby Motorway. There is good bus and rail transportation. We do have a car that we'd be prepared to do a swap with. We're about 30 min from Bondi Beach!

Sydney is a great city to stay in. It is sunny with blue skies and NO rain in winter!!
