Located in the heart of the very popular yet peaceful 'de pijp' area of Amsterdam. 4 mins from Central Station by the metro and a short walk to the city centre.

My one bedroomed, modern apartment looks out onto a canal. The apartment is suitable for couples (couples with one child might be able to persuade them to sleep on a very comfortable sofa!). The stairs are quite steep (Dutch design!), so wouldn't be suitable for those with mobility issues.

De Pijp is well known for the wide variety of bars and restaurants and famous Albert Cuyp market is on the next street selling fresh produce six days a week. This is a superb location in Amsterdam; buzzing and alive, yet peaceful when it matters. Over 150 bars, cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.

You will be a 5 min walk away from the Museum Quarter, where you can find the Van Gogh, the Stedelijk and the Rijksmuseum.

Holland offers much to see and do and Amsterdam is a great base to explore other towns and cities such as Utrecht, Harlem, Den Haag and Rotterdam. Other European countries with closer cities such as Antwerp and Dusseldorf being possible day trips.
