An end of terrace village house, fronting onto the high street (1&2); dates from 1636 and was built as an annex to the Red Lion Public House, that used to be situated in No 4 High Street.

Within the village are a National Trust Property, Scotney Castle and Grounds, Bewl Bridge Reservoir, for sailing and boating, Lamberhurst Golf Club, where we are members.

Village has a baker, Butcher, general store and post office, hairdressers, and a selection of hostelries (Pubs) serving food and ale, and a couple of good restaurants.

Royal Tunbridge Wells is only 5 miles away, and would be well worth a visit.
Trains are within easy reach, 10-15 minutes drive, and the service to Central London takes 30 minutes from Tonbridge.

South coast resorts are also within reach, Hastings about 40 mins. Brighton about 1 hour plus many others.

Ebbs Fleet Eurostar station for trains to France is 1 hour away, or from St. Pancras, London.

Eurotunnel trips tp France by car, 1hour 10 mins to Folkestone area, and Dover Car Ferries about 1 hour 20 mins to Dover Port.
