Derek 52, I am a freelance musician and live here in Bristol with my son, Joe (17) and our dog Louie (Louie would be looked after while we are away by family or in kennels, as he is a very nervous dog). Joe is just about to return to Bristol College to study A levels, he is MAD, and I mean MAD about football...an Arsenal supporter, as we used to live in London right near the stadium. This is particularly the reason for wanting Barcelona as we are coming over for a football match as well as to visit the beautiful city which we have been to before.

Joe's Mum (Patricia age 59) will not be coming with us this time around, but she may well in the future. She lives in London and also has on offer a 1 bed flat in Highbury which you could use instead of our 2 bed in Bristol if you prefer. (She would then stay in Bristol while we are away as she is often here anyway). We have family nearby in London, so could offer help on where to go etc. but Highbury is a great area and very accessible for transport to West End or anywhere within London. She is also open to offers of holiday rental on her flat.
