We are located on the edge of Child Okeford (North Dorset) overlooking open countryside and occupying an idyllic position under the spectacular Hambledon Hill. This quiet corner of the North Dorset countryside contains all you need to keep you occupied for your stay. The village has two public houses one of which is only a few minutes walk away. The Organic Farm Shop is also a few minutes walk away and has an interior design shop and delicous cafe on site. The walks up Hambledon Hill and the surrounding countryside are spectacular.

We can accomodate your every need and children are particularly welcome. As parents ourselves we are used to dealing with family needs so have highchairs, pushchairs, monitors etc. We have a large ensuite master bedroom plus a double and 2 x twin rooms and a single room. There is separate shower room with toilet and a further bathroom with bath and toilet. Downstairs is very spacious with 2 x living rooms one large one small both have working woodburners for the winter. We have just renovated out kitchen which has an Aga, normal gas oven and cooker as well as eating area, island and sofas. There is also an office with Apple Mac and wifi a playroom for the children. There is also a downstairs toilet. The house is completely double glazed and has good central heating and almost endless hot water for baths and showers. There is a large garage with upstairs games room with pool table and darts board, plus 4 x bicycles and golf clubs (adult and child set) for use. The garden is 3/4 of an acre with 2 x summer houses, a children's tree house and a large playground area. There is also a smaller back garden with access from the kitchen perfect for outdoor entertaining.

Pets: We have a dog (black Labrador) and cat so pets are welcome; we can always put them in kennels if you need.

We are ideally located between Blandford Forum and Shaftesbury both pretty market towns and within 45 mins of the lovely cathedral city of Salisbury. Bournemouth (nearest airport) & Poole have a huge range of beautiful beaches and great shopping. Bath another great city to visit is within an hour well worth a visit. Nearest airports are Bournemouth (45 mins), Southampton (1hr), Bristol (1.5hrs). London is 2 hours away.

There are plenty of local attractions and a great trailway for cycle enthusiasts on the edge of the village. There are two iron age hillforts within walking distance so spectacular views and walks.
