About the location

Whitford is a small village on the river Axe in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so lots of wildlife and walks with fabulous countryside and sea views.

Shops, pubs etc in Colyton or Musbury both 1 mile away. Bigger shops and supermarkets in Seaton or Axminster. Wonderful farm shop 1 mile away in Kilmington.

Several Lovely Jurassic coast beaches within 15 minutes drive. Seaton, Charmouth (fossil hunters paradise) and the Lovely Regency town of Lyme Regis, setting of several films including Ammonite and The French Leutenants Woman, and much loved and frequented by Jane Austen (her novel Persuasion was written and based here).
Another 10 minutes to Broadchurch (West Bay) or Sidmouth.

City of Exeter with its Cathedral and Roman walls is 20 miles away.
