We live in a semi rural area, a 5-10 min walk/cycle takes you into the Pennine hills/valleys & Peak District National Park&Holmfirth. There are plenty of local rivers/canals & reservoirs to enjoy along with rural & village pubs.
Further afield Leeds, Manchester, Bradford & Sheffield are all within 1 hour by car plus excellent public transport links very close by. Our nearest large town is Huddersfield which provides all the amenities of a large university town.
