Barn conversion on the edge of Penzance

We live a spacious barn conversion on the edge of Penzance. Our home has a large, wooded garden next to a stream.

We are in close proximity to some of the most spectacular beaches in Cornwall and our home is in a quiet location. The Eden project is a 45 minute drive away and there are numerous country and beach walks on our doorstep.

We have several chickens who lay delicious eggs and a cat called Sooty who likes to be fed and cuddled.

About the location

Cornwall is a peninsular in the far south west of Britain. It has a plethora of magnificent beaches and is a popular region for surfing and wind surfing. We live close to the historic Minack theatre, a spectacular outdoor amphitheatre next to Porthcurno beach and Land's End.
Penzance is a pretty town with plenty of local shops including artisan bakeries, green grocers as well as your usual supermarkets. Bus services run regularly to all the local villages and towns and we are a ten minute walk from Penzance train station. We are surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty as well as interesting historical mine engines.
This is the land of Poldark! There are plenty of museums and galleries nearby. There is a golf course in the next town and a tennis court within walking distance of our house. When the tide is out, it is possible to access Mount's Bay beach by foot at the end of our lane. St Michael's Mount is within walking/cycling distance and St Ives is a seven miles away (accessible by train and bus).
