Lovely 4 Bed home in Thirsk, England

We live in the small semi rural market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire. Our home is a traditional 1830s terrace house which is large and spacious and deceptive from the outside and full of old fashioned features, like an open fire, log burning stove and all the old features you get in these old fashioned houses. We remodernised several years ago, so there is a a large double bathroom with walk in double shower, and bath as well as two ensuite bathrooms. We love cooking and have a well equipped kitchen.

There is lots to do in the surrounding area if you enjoy visiting quaint english villages, enjoy the outdoors and like walking in the local hills. The North Yorkshire Moors, and Cumbria are a short drive and the coast is an hour away. If you have ever read "It shouldn't happen to a vet" by James Herriott about a young vet living in Thirsk and want to enjoy the beautiful local scenery described in the book then please contact us.

We have three cats who like people but we can arrange for someone else to look after them if it doesn't suit you.

We are members of the local squash, archery, football and running clubs and we are sure we can sort something out if you have similar interests.

The nearest airport is teeside airport, followed by Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham. We are on a direct line from London and Manchester on the train and it takes about 2.5 hours. We are happy to car swap.
