Lovely 3 Bed home in Northampton, England

Northampton is the perfect location for exploring the heart of England. We are 1 hour by car from Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and Cambridge and just under 1 hour by train from London and Birmingham. The Rose of the Shires is renowned for its numerous stately homes and gardens including Althorp House,Castle Ashby and Coton Manor Gardens.

Our house is situated in a picturesque village, 2 miles from the centre of Northampton. On our doorstep (at the end of the road) is Abington Park with lakes, museum, gardens, cafe, aviary and tennis courts and in summer there are both regular music in the bandstand and plays in the museum gardens.
A walk out of the other end of the village reveals a leisure and small shopping centre with adjoining arthouse cinema. Nearby canals, lakes,rivers and water activity centres offer walking and boating possibilities.

Our house is a bright and spacious family home with open fire in the lounge and wood burner in the music room. The large kitchen leading out onto the sizeable garden is a fantastic space for cooking and eating. The trampoline has proved popular during family exchange!

Our home is located on an attractive street featuring thatched cottages, and with the centre of the town only half an hour's walk away - this really is the best of both worlds!
