The cottage is on the beautiful Duddon Estuary, stunning views of the Duddon Valley/mountains beyond. On the edge of the Lake District National Park. Close to Lake Coniston and Lake Windermere for water sports etc. Lovely walks in the area.
Set in a hamlet, with 2 pubs,(3 min and 8 min walk) shop, post office and railway station. But a car would be advisable. The market town of Ulverston, 5 miles, with restaurants, banks etc.
Scotland is also easily accessible, 1.45 hours by car.
