Two bed 1st floor apartment near centre of suburb two miles from centre of medieval city of York. One bed is a King size the other a Double. Not suitable for children.

About the location

Acomb is a large suburb two miles from the centre of York with small shopping centre and all amenities on our doorstep.

The city centre is two miles away and we frequently walk there. However, the bus stop is just 1 minute walk away and bus leave at least every ten minutes during the day and every twenty until late night. Car parks can be expensive in the city centre day time.

York is a popular tourist destination all year round. The Minster, the town walls, the Jorvic Centre, themed markets and museums are some of the many tourist attractions. But for residents, the city centre's main draws are its theatres, cinemas, restaurants, clubs, pubs and large shops.

York is within easy reach of the Yorkshire Coast, the Yorkshire Wolds, the Pennines, and Yorkshire Wolds. York Railway Station is a main line station with direct lines all over the UK including London (two hours to London).
