Sunny London flat for 2 in ideal location between Hampstead & Primrose Hill

We live in Belsize Park, one of London`s best areas, between Hampstead, Primrose Hill, and Camden Town, about 3km from central London. Many of our exchangers have said it is their ideal location for visiting London.

Our light and airy apartment comprises the first floor of an 1870s townhouse in a leafy conservation area. It is on the corner of a wide tree-lined street and has views of gardens front and back. It is calm, comfortable, and quiet, with high ceilings and tall windows.

It has a large and bright living room; a well-equipped kitchen; one bedroom (with a double bed (150 x 200) and a small study. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. There is central heating (very cosy in winter), internet, HD tv, Blu-Ray & cd players, and many books, magazines, films, and music cds (mainly jazz and classical) that you are welcome to use.

We are a few minutes walk from buses into central London, and from Belsize Park Tube station (Zone 2 on the Northern Line), from which it is 10-15 minutes to the West End. The London Overground train station at Hampstead Heath is 10 minutes walk. We are 4 Tube stops to the Eurostar terminal at St Pancras International and its fast trains to Brussels, Paris and beyond.

The main shopping street is near the Tube station at Belsize Park, where there is a large, late opening supermarket, an excellent greengrocer, a pharmacy, cinema, bookshop, bank, and several brasserie-style cafes (see the photo on our listing).

About the location

Belsize Park is an attractive, lively and well-to-do area of north London, on a hill. The local area is mainly residential, largely built in the 1860s, with wide tree-lined streets.

Further up the hill is Hampstead village with its fine 17th and 18th century buildings, picturesque lanes and terraces. This area of London is well known for its historical and cultural associations and is very rewarding to explore.

For walks, picnics and wonderful views, three of London�s largest green spaces are nearby: Hampstead Heath is 10 minutes walk to the north of us, with the historic Kenwood House, and 791 acres of open fields, woods, hills and ponds. Primrose Hill and Regent`s Park are 15 minutes walk down the hill towards central London - one of our favourite walks is through the two parks and their beautiful gardens into the West End.
