Lewes is the county town of East Sussex. It is a charming and interesting market town in the heart of the beautiful Southdown National Park. It sits across the river Ouse as it passes through the Downs towards the sea at Newhaven 8 miles down stream.

The house is a small terraced cottage overlooking a park in the center of town, just under the castle.

There is particularly friendly atmosphere in the road where neighbours regularly meet. The landscape and countryside is interesting in all directions and easily accessed on foot.

The road and rail connections are excellent e.g. London (55 min) Brighton (20 min) airports and channel crossings less than an hour.
