Lovely 3 Bed home in 7172-30 Shimosuwa-machi, Japan
Unique western style house (5yrs old) in Japan with magnificent views of Mt Fuji, the Southern Alps and Lake Suwa. Facing south on the side of the hills of Shimosuwa you can feel cool in summer watching the fireworks on one of our 2 decks, or cozy warm in winter nestled next to our Kachelofen.
We have 3 bedrooms, Forest BR - queen, Lake BR - double bed, Japanese tatemi mat room - futons. 2 bathrooms and toilets. Weight room and a water rower in the basement.
Train stn is 5 mins by car, as are local restaurants, onsens and the lake. Forest walks just outside the door. Our neighbor is my wife's sister who is married to a Canadian (they have 2 kids - 6 & 9 ). Google map is incorrect, look just above the school, at the V in the roads, ours is the top house.
