South London first floor apartment, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, cable tv, Wifi, well equipped kitchen. Transport links are excellent, for example we are half a mile from West Wickham station for trains to Lewisham (for the Docklands Light Railway to Greenwich, Tower Bridge, East London, etc). Same line to London Bridge and Charing Cross. The main transport hubs near here are Croydon (15 minutes bus ride) and Bromley (also 15 minutes). Croydon is particularly good as trains go to just about everywhere from there, eg. Victoria and London Bridge, and Brighton the other way. Also there is a tram service for journeys within the Croydon area going as far as Wimbledon. From Bromley trains go into Kent, eg. Dover, Rochester, etc. London has an Oyster Card system, much cheaper than cash, and with a ceiling on the daily charge for travelling in and around London and out to the suburbs. No problems at all about parking. We are on a very quiet road and the parking space is off road. Local high street shops within walking distance including Sainsburys and M&S Food Hall.
