Opposite the front door is a lane that leads to the centre of the village and the pub. A three minute walk takes you to the middle of fields, a brook and a cycleway with views to the surrounding area. The ridgeway is twenty minutes away and you can go horseriding in the next village.
The railway station is a 10 minute cycle ride and Oxford is 15 minutes away and London 45. Biscester village is about 40 minutes by car and Windsor, Newbury, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon are all within easy reach via the m40. In addition to the station Didcot has an arts centre, multi screen cinema and swimming pool.
