characterful cottage on the edge of town
Our home is a 3 bedroom house with a large garden. It is 2-3 minutes from open fields and about 5 minutes from the town centre. The house was first built about 150 years ago, but extended many times since then, including by us a few years ago. It is cosy and light with lots of windows. The garden has a seating area, as well as a range of trees, lawn, a swing, a willow den, fruit bushes and vegetable patch.
The living room has a wood burning stove. There is also gas central heating, and the house is well insulated and cosy.
It is a friendly small town with many beautiful buildings, a market, shops, 2 theatres, a cinema, a train station and buses. For details see http://www.frome-tc.gov.uk/.
About the location
The town has many cafes, two theatres, and lots of shops. There is an active local community and many local events and services. There is a train station and also frequent buses to Bath, Bristol, Weymouth and elsewhere. There is beautiful countryside around this area. There are many lovely walks and bike riding opportunities. The swimming pool and sports centre is about 20 minutes walk away.
