Our home is a traditional style Queenslander, characterised by wooden floor boards and flowing spaces to let the natural breeze through. There are three generous sized bedrooms and a lounge/dining that flows to the kitchen and outside to the back deck. The back deck is the perfect place to sit and have your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail whilst looking out over the children playing in the backyard. The yard is the ultimate kids paradise with a trampoline, sandpit, climbing frame, paddle pool and bikes. There is a garden and vegetable patch too for the green thumbs.

We live in the heart of a wonderful community in which we BBQ with our neighbours, and kids walk to school and play in the street. We rarely drive as we are able to walk to cafes, parks, cinemas and shops. The wonderful city ferry is close by which enables an easy and lovely way to access the city.

Brisbane is a young and vibrant city with much to offer a traveller but it would also give you a good base to explore the rest of Australia either by car (ie. 40min drive to the Gold Coast) or plane (ie. 2hr flight to Sydney).
