A beautiful rural retreat nestled in the Worcestershire countryside
Our home has a large open kitchen/diner, spacious comfortable lounge (with a wood burning stove), downstairs WC, master bedroom (with en-suite), 2 children’s bedrooms (each with single bed) and a family bathroom. A separate Annexe is available if required which has two further bedrooms (each with double beds) small shower room, lounge/gym (with pool table, exercise equipment, TV, fridge, kettle/coffee maker).
Within our 1.5 acres is a lovely grassy field and apple/damson orchard (grazed by four sheep), a brook and space for children to safely roam, make dens and play. We also have chickens who will keep you in fresh eggs throughout your stay! The garden has monkey-bars and a playhouse. We have an outside kitchen area with gas BBQ, sink and wood-fired Pizza oven. There are several outside seating areas, including a South facing patio area off the lounge (with a large Kamado egg bbq) and another patio area with rattan furniture near the outdoor kitchen.
We are within walking distance of the Wyre Forest with its fabulous walks, cycling tracks, cafe, playground, visitors centre & `Go Ape`). We are a 2 minute drive from historic Bewdley (home to Severn Valley Steam Railway & West Midlands Safari Park).
Worcester 15 miles, Ludlow 18 miles, Birmingham 24 miles.
The chickens do require their food and water being kept an eye on (normally every other day) and the sheep are quite self-sufficient with grazing but do have a water trough that needs topping up occasionally.
