Comfortable house in lovely Wales

Comfortable contemporary home in lovely grounds in market town of Abergavenny. Wifi,Smart TV with Freesat and Netflix, hundreds of books, a cook`s kitchen and patio garden with BBQ.
We have four bedrooms. One has a king-size bed and en suite bathroom; one has a double bed and is next door to the family bathroom. Both these bedrooms are on the second floor, as is the fourth bedroom which has a small double sofa bed, which is probably better for 1 adult or child but can accommodate 2 adults. The third bedroom is on the ground floor, and is next door to a shower room with a walk-in shower. This room is normally used as an office, but has a comfortable double sofa bed which we can make up if needed. The living room and kitchen/diner (with an extendable table and chairs for 8 - 10 people) are on the first floor. We have a patio garden with a table and enough chairs for 8 - 10 people.

About the location

House is within 10 minutes walk of the town, where there are lots of places to eat and drink, a theatre, a cinema, an indoor swimming pool and many independent shops. We are just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park, with fantastic walks for all abilities close by. Many lovely country pubs and restaurants nearby, not to mention the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, Norman castles and historic churches. Blaenavon World Heritage Site, Hay-on-Wye (the book town), Cardiff, Hereford (with its Cathedral and the Mappa Mundi), Monmouth all within 40 minutes by car. London can be reached in 3 hours at most from our local station.
